Listening to you both today felt like the perfect pre-equinox ritual, I loved so much of what you had to say, of the deep realisation about one-anotherness through being in the garden and that growth happens in the darkness. I have been thinking and writing about this rich and beautiful time of late summer/early autumn and what it means to me, much more like a deep integration and completion of everything that has come before rather than just a seasonal shift, as well as the beginning of a new cycle with autumn seed sowing and bulb planting. I feel very much immersed in this time, it is a fully body and earth experience xx
Beautiful, Kerri. The words of your poem really resonated with me. I feel that seed sowing energy keenly at this time of year; the darkness really does have such a quiet power. The words have come flooding back since Oak Mother, so thank you again, and I marked the Equinox yesterday by baking a simple crumble to enjoy in the darkness before the night feed! Xxx

After reflecting on .. This is something I have done and continue to do with my houseplants also when needs be. I write a note (a seed of an intention, intercessory prayer, ) And with the use of ribbons and/or threads decorate a stick. Having secured that my note is wrapped around the stick--I, then use the symbolic colours of our four directions:- East/yellow South/ red West/black and North/white. Wisdom Teachers! A correlation could be made with the prayer ties, that I put on the trees when outdoors. An intimate reciprocal relationship ensues that has the potential to flourish evermore consciously for me in my/our 'becoming' - Oneness! Higher Consciousness.
