"We placed ourselves there in the light of good things and we trust that all will be well." Hi Kerri,
I love this. It meant a lot to read that today, given the whirlwind that my family and I are in at the moment. To place ourselves in the light and to know that the light really is always there resurrects hope and reminds me, as you say, "that all will be well."
So right you are, creatives can weave new ways. Ideas will stick and be molded when they can be, and they will brew away. Keep it all so dear and close. But also, it is such a dose. Those apps are so much work.
On another note I thought of a writer today. Noelle Mccarthys book "Grand" has finally been published in Ireland. I lapped it up. She's gorgeous x
Thank you for your stunning transparency, your gorgeous writing, and for a reframing of rejection--I am at the “this is maddening” stage--for which I am particularly grateful. 🙏🏻
Lying here wondering why I gashed my thumb / trying to look for some metaphysical clues and then reading how you’re wondering why all the rejection - and there’s something oddly comforting in the way we’re both seeking meaning tho these two things are of course very different - curiosity in adversity? Can’t wait to see you tomorrow x
I have been thinking about our brief conversation yesterday. The love and gratitude for the hydrangeas (and everything else) is what will open the path for you in whatever mysterious way that it comes. 💚💚💚
Someone pinched your book from the birthing room? Horrors!! I hope they made good use of it too 😩
what a lovely, hopeful piece. Good luck with your endeavours, I am off to buy your book.
That is, Cacophony of Bone.

Whenever I get rejections I usually think that there is a lesson to be taught for me.
