I know I said I’d already done my last post for the year but actually sometimes we change our minds and so here we are, it’s my birthday and I’ve had the most beautiful few days on this app, in dialogue with some of the most kind, tender people I’ve ever had the honour of encountering and so I want to express my gratitude.

I began this substack last year a handful of weeks before my birthday, a time of year I’ve long struggled with like many people who’ve not had a life they would necessarily have chosen.
