‘this is the bright home in which I live…
this is where I want to love all the things
it has taken me so long to learn to love’
[David Whyte]
Friends how are your hearts, how are your hands, how is the bright home of you?
I am writing to you from Cornwall, from a time of rest & love & tending the fires inner and outer.
I am here to share some offerings with you, to invite you back, or deeper, towards the bright, bright home of your being.
Gathering in circle is the way I best know how to turn & return.
How to hold & be held ; how to remember.
Tomorrow, Wednesday 12th February 7-8 pm GMT on zoom MOSS MOTHER MOON, a circle for all women.
This is my favourite part of the month, and to be joining you from Cornwall feels so so special.
Then on Monday 17th February 1-2pm GMT, on zoom, WE REMEMBER THE FOREST.
WE REMEMBER THE FOREST….
We know that we are stronger , safer and more magical when we live how the creatures of the forest do.
I am offering this writing workshop to help fundraise for a replacement laptop for a pal of mine who had his laptop stolen while mushroom foraging with his young son…
One thing we can do to help each other navigate late stage capitalism is to offer what we have; to take our place in the web of reciprocity RWK speaks of so tenderly.
I will explore in the gathering the ways mushrooms can guide us towards a more finely, tightly knit ,sustainable mode of caring for one another.
We will look at exquisite mushroom writing, listen to mushroom music, and dream of the dark earth.
Mushrooms as a way back to the forest…
Email inchwhooperswan@gmail.com to join either gathering.
I’ll be sharing soon the dates for the upcoming season of OAK MOTHER - a writing gathering for mothers.
I am considering starting another Co-writing space for all women, too, and would love to gauge interest.
Would you be interested ?
If so what GMT times suit you best?
I’d love also to hear what your week is looking like? Are you writing ? Singing? Dancing? Wandering? Living?
In brightness x
Gorgeous offerings Kerri, as ever xx
Kerri, this is so needed right now. I'd love to join all of them, as I'm looking for an online community of like-minded women to connect with. I'm in the CET time zone, and unfortunately, 7-8 PM (8-9 CET) doesn’t work for me since it's dinner and family time. However, mornings are great for me as I'm mostly home. Thank you—I’m looking forward to connecting during one of these gatherings! 💛
