~ on not abandoning the world

Someone I’m working with just now sent me a mail asking for my address a few days ago, starting it with the words: ‘it’s been a hard few days for compassionate individuals’ and it hit me hard.

I’ve felt wildly overwhelmed with what’s been happening (as I’m sure you have been too ) and uncomfortable with so much of the discourse on so many levels.

What do we do?

How do we make this stop?

I have no answers, of course, and have found even the questions feel so lacking.
